Berlin - then and now // Berlin: damals und heute

Note 9/2015: I noticed that this older post currently is read very frequently and I am curious why, so feel free to write a comment below :-)
While these shots are not remarkable in a photographic sense, I was moved by the amount of historical change in between them.

First photo is of a photo within the Victoria monument museum in Berlin.

Diese Fotos sind zwar nicht in irgendeiner Weise bemerkenswert vom fotografischen Standpunkt aus. Aber wie massiv die geschichtlichen Veränderungen hier zu sehen sind, bewegt mich.

Das erste Foto hängt im Museum des Siegessäulen-Museums in Berlin.
