Bentley, or how expectation forms our perception / Bentley, oder wie unsere Annahmen unsere Wahrnehmung beeinflussen

This beautiful restored Bentley with its traditional british green paint was a nice opportunity for a photo.
You can easily see the good rendering of the Sony SEL50F18. But..... this was shot wide open with the kit lens, which I only noticed after looking at the EXIF data looking for the used aperture. I was really convinced that this was shot with the 50 due to the intensive rendering and clarity.
Funny how our expectations form our perception and vice versa. Admitted however that 22 mm is the absolute sweet spot for the kit zoom.

Dieser schöne alte Bentley mit seiner Lackierung im klassischen Grün war eine nette Fotogelegenheit. Die gute Abbildungsqualität des Sony-Objektivs SEL50F18 lässt sich leicht erkennen. Nur ..... das war mit dem Kitzoom voll aufgeblendet fotografiert, was ich nur bemerkte als ich die EXIF-Daten anschaute wegen der verwendeten Blende. Ich war wirklich davon überzeugt, dass 50er verwendet zu haben wegen der intensiven und klaren Farbwiedergabe.
Auf eine Art witzig wie unsere Annahmen unsere Wahrnehmung beeinflussen und umgekehrt. Allerdings sind 22 mm beim Kitzoom auch der absolute Sahnebereich.
